A multi-specialty clinic opening at Dubai Hills Park required a fit-out that balanced clinical rigour with the warmth and calm that puts patients at ease. The brief called for clean, hygienic surfaces throughout — without the sterile coldness that defines most medical interiors. Every material had to meet DHA compliance standards while the overall atmosphere needed to reflect the premium positioning of the practice.
تطلّبت عيادة متعددة التخصصات تُفتتح في Dubai Hills Park تشطيبًا داخليًا يوازن بين الدقة الطبية والدفء والهدوء اللذين يبعثان الطمأنينة في نفوس المرضى. اقتضت المتطلبات أسطحًا نظيفة وصحية في جميع الأرجاء، دون البرود المعقّم الذي يطبع معظم التصاميم الطبية. وكان على كل مادة أن تستوفي معايير امتثال هيئة الصحة بدبي (DHA)، فيما تطلّب الطابع العام أن يعكس المكانة الراقية للعيادة.
The reception and waiting area were the client's priority: a first impression that reads as hospitality-grade, signalling quality of care before the first consultation begins. Treatment rooms required seamless, anti-microbial joinery with integrated medical gas runs concealed within the millwork.

DHA-licensed fit-outs impose strict requirements on surface materials, ceiling heights, ventilation zoning, and room adjacencies — all of which must be documented and signed off before a certificate of occupancy is issued. For this project, several design choices the client wanted (feature timber panelling, concealed lighting troughs, bespoke joinery with integrated sinks) needed compliance engineering built in from the start, not retrofitted.

The condensed 8-week schedule — driven by a signed lease and a planned opening day — left no room for redesign. Every material specification had to be finalised before site works began, with DHA-approved alternatives identified in advance for every primary choice.

Our team worked with the client's DHA consultant from day one, embedding compliance checkpoints directly into the design schedule. All joinery drawings were submitted for approval alongside the material data sheets — a single consolidated submission that reduced back-and-forth by two weeks compared to a standard sequential process.

In the treatment rooms, we developed a bespoke millwork system with anti-microbial lacquer on all contact surfaces, stainless steel inlays at sink cut-outs, and medical gas ports pre-positioned within the cabinet carcass. The result: clinical compliance with the clean, considered aesthetic the client had envisioned from the beginning. Eng. Mustafa led the project personally, ensuring every detail met the standard on first inspection.
في غرف العلاج، طوّرنا منظومة أعمال خشبية مخصصة بطلاء لاكيه مقاوم للميكروبات على جميع الأسطح الملامِسة، وتطعيمات من الفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ عند فتحات الأحواض، ومنافذ غازات طبية موضوعة مسبقًا داخل هيكل الخزائن. وكانت النتيجة امتثالًا طبيًا مقترنًا بالجمالية النظيفة والمدروسة التي تصوّرها العميل منذ البداية. وقد قاد المهندس مصطفى المشروع بنفسه، حارصًا على أن يستوفي كل تفصيل المعيار من أول معاينة.
